anybody can create an account and start selling their services for $5, and the great thing is, you can sell any type of service you want, anything from writing articles to writing messages in snow for people or even covering yourself in chocolate on video!
Yes I know that seems crazy, but what’s even crazier is that people buy these services, I remember looking through the fiverr site one time and I did see someone offering the service of covering themselves in melted chocolate while dancing, and guess what? over 200 people bought that service, that’s $1,000 for doing something easy, quick and stupid..
They key to being successful on Fiverr is being original and creative, I briefly went down to ridiculous road as well , I put up a gig offering to crack eggs into my shoes and walk around in them for a bit, and I made $40 in my first day, all the orders turned out to be from the same guy and I didn’t get any more orders after that day, but hey, i thought about something original, easy and creative, and made a quick $40..
Of course, you shouldn’t only put up bizarre services, it is also a good idea to put up services or skills you are good at like computer programming or article writing, and there are a few services I will tell you about later on, that ALWAYS sell for everybody!

• If you don’t already have a fiverr account, Set one Up Now , don’t pick a hard to read username, pick something catchy and easy to read for customers to remember you..• The services that you provide are called gigs, and they all cost $5 to purchase, $4 goes to you and fiverr keeps $1 as commission..
Your profile is allowed to have 10 gigs offered..
• Have a look around the fiverr sales page to see what other people are offering for $5, you will see a huge variety of simple, smart and crazy gigs on offer.. Hopefully you will see that you can sell anything to these people if you are creative..
• Think hard about ideas for your gigs, I recommend you have 5 original gigs you thought of yourself and 5 generic gigs that people are always looking for.
• When thinking of ideas think about what skills you have, what you are knowledgeable about, what location are you in? can you use that location to your advantage, for example if you lived by the beach you could offer to write message in the sand or if you lived in a cold climate you could offer to write a message in snow with your pee or something..
• Also try to think of gigs that ARE worth the $5 but at the same time don’t take too much time or effort for you to complete, like it won’t be worth it if you offer to do something that will take you hours to complete, I generally never offer anything that will take me longer than 1 hour to complete…
• When Creating your Gigs, make sure you use full descriptions to attract the potential customers, explain fully what you will do for $5 and explain why it is a good idea for them to buy your gig and not someone else’s. Also add lots of photo’s .. If possible create a video for your gig, Fiverr states that gigs with videos are x2 more likely to sell!

2- Article Writing

For example if you have a gig selling 500 word articles, you can add an extra saying “I will write an additional 300 words for $5″, if people buy the extra as well then you will receive 10 or more depending on how many extra’s you have..
Be Wary Of Feedback
• The most vital part of becoming popular on fiverr is based on your feedback and seller score, your seller

is marked out of 100 and is based on your good and bad reviews. It is
very important to give the buyers exactly what you said you would in the
gig title. Don’t be lazy and try and find an easy way out! If you start
getting bad reviews it is much harder for you to receive more gig
orders.• If you feel someone has given you a false negative review, ask them if they truly feel that way and ask if there is anything you can do to get them to change their review.. it may even be worth giving refunds to unhappy customers to keep your feedback score up to attract more buyers.
Don’t Try And Sell Something You Can’t Do
• This is pretty obvious but I have in the past seen people offering things like “design a website in 24 hours” when they actually don’t know the first thing about web design..It is not possible to cheat in fiverr, if you don’t deliver what is promised you simply won’t get paid. Money is only released to you account after the buyer confirms he got what he asked for..
You Won’t Receive Your Money Straight Away
• Once you have completed a gig, your funds will be locked for 14 days, this is done as a security measure incase anyone tries to cheat, but 2 weeks isn’t that bad but don’t think that you can create a fiverr profile today and cash out in a few hours..Once the 14 days are up, you can cash out instantly to your paypal account.
• you can also apply for a fiverr revenue debit card, with this, any money you earn on fiverr instantly goes onto your card, and you can use it any shops that accept debit cards and even withdraw money from it at an ATM. I think the card is currently only available In USA, but i am not too sure as I am not interested on getting one.
